So I’m going to give you my honest opinion of The Legal Bundle that was written by Amira from ASelfGuru.

I started blogging in May 2018 & I was so busy trying to get my head around establishing my blog, writing articles, posting on social media, IT technicalities, graphics & all the behind the scenes work that goes hand in hand with blogging.
THE LAW AND YOUR BLOG
All of a sudden I started reading everywhere about the GDPR & how I needed to protect my blog and myself by making sure I complied with these new requirements. I had absolutely no idea what it meant, after doing some research I learned that it was basically about processing of personal data of residents of the EU.
Surely I don’t have to worry about it being an Aussie?, but no, I did!! Of course I did, when you have a website people from any country can visit it so you need to make sure you comply with all these laws and it was intimidating to learn that the GDPR applied to us, Australians too.
I started asking questions in blogging group forums & found out there were a range of disclosures and policies that I was required to have on my blog.
I started researching & everything was written in legalese that I couldn’t comprehend. I had no idea what I was doing or how to begin writing these legal pages for my blog. I did some research on Pinterest & found lawyers offering these documents at astronomical prices.
One price I saw was $1,200, another was $700. It almost put me off blogging. Everything was so confusing, so complicated & so damn expensive!! I had no idea what I was doing yet I knew it was important to have these legal pages on my blog to protect my online business.
LEGAL BUNDLE FOR YOUR WEBSITE
He also said that it was very user friendly & could be customised to specifically suit your blog within minutes!
I went to the website, which was very easy to navigate & found The Legal Bundle. It consisted of 3 templates, which I have since learned are required by ALL bloggers.
They are :
I’ll now attempt to describe each template in lay person’s terms.
DISCLAIMER ON YOUR BLOG
A Disclaimer is required if you are giving advice to people on your blog and without a legally compliant Disclaimer in place, you could land yourself in a lot of hot water.
I’ll give you an example, I am a Mummy Blogger and if I write an article on feeding schedules for your baby & recommend that you feed a 5kg baby every four hours and you follow my advice and god forbid your child becomes ill due to my advice, (malnutrition, losing weight etc), I have left myself wide open for someone to slap a big fat lawsuit on me (not that I would give such advice but you see where I am going).
If you are participating in Affiliate Marketing, you also need to disclose your affiliate relationships under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) otherwise you will face serious lawsuits. The FTC regularly brings lawsuits against companies for not complying with the laws and disclosing their affiliate relationships properly
If you have a legally compliant Disclaimer Policy on your website, you are protecting your legal interests & informing people that you are sharing your opinion only & cannot be held responsible for any possible implications or interpretations people make from your writing.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON YOUR BLOG
Last but not least is The Terms & Conditions legal page on your blog. Although the majority of people will not read this, you are legally required to have this information readily available to inform people of the terms & Conditions to which they visit your site. This also includes minors visiting your site which is very important depending on your content.
The Legal Bundle includes the documents as listed above & cover all of the legal requirements you have as a blogger. Unfortunately ignorance is not an excuse, you must have these documents.
You can purchase each one separately however it is more cost effective to purchase the bundle. These 3 templates also came with 9 additional bonuses so if I didn’t need something right away such as an Earnings disclaimer, I could save that template language for later use. What a huge savings!
Purchasing the templates was easy & hassle free but I have to admit I was nervous about customising them. I am not great with the technical aspect of things, so was worried it would present a challenge.
But I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that it was super easy & only took a couple of minutes to customise all 3 templates. I couldn’t believe it!! I was so relieved and happy to have this weight lifted off my shoulders because lawsuits are scary and intimidating. I wanted to make sure my online business was protected legally from the beginning.
So given all of the information above, I would definitely recommend The Legal Bundle. From start to finish, the transaction was seamless. I was surprised by just how easy it was.
If you are serious about your blog and your online business, and don’t have these documents in place, what are you waiting for?.
