In the last few decades, there has been a frighteningly rapid increase of obesity across the world. There are growing number of people looking for ways to lose weight, which has led to the creation of a weight-loss industry that is valued at billions of dollars.
One of the top products in the market for weight loss and fat burning is EHPlabs Oxyshred. The company that created this powder-based supplement is EHPLabs, and this product was launched in 2011. Since then, it has been a best-seller in the market.
What Is So Special about EHP Oxyshred?
This product has been getting rave reviews since it was launched in 2011. According to the company, EHP Oxyshred boosts your metabolism, destroys the bad fat cells, limits calorie absorption by the body, supports your immunity and enhances your mood.
The company also states this supplement will not cause anxiety or the jitters since no heavy stimulants have been used in it.
When you look at the ingredient list, there are some really great ingredients that are good for losing weight and burning fat naturally. There are tons of vitamin C, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Acetyl L-Carnitine, Raspberry Ketones, Grapefruit Seed Extracts, Green Coffee Bean Extracts, and Vitamin B12.
What is Not So Good About EHP Oxyshred?
There are few things about EHP Oxyshred that can cause a sense of worry. Firstly, since the formulation for this supplement is proprietary, not all the ingredients used are listed.
Secondly, EHP Oxyshred contains Higenamine HCL. This chemical compound is naturally found in numerous plants such as lotus, aconite, as arum, sacred bamboo, and Lamarck’s bedstraw, to name a few. This compound improves athletic performance, but it has been banned in sports and is on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Prohibited List.
This substance works as a stimulant and is known to cause some serious heart-related issues. It can lead to heart arrhythmia or even death.
While the amount of Higenamine HCL in EHP Oxyshred would not be enough to cause serious health issues, but it is a cause for concern that such a dangerous substance has been used as a part of this supplement.
And since this is a proprietary blend, we do not know how much of this compound is present in it.
Having said that, a supporter of EHP Oxyshred argues that Higenamine HCL is a great compound for the stimulation of adrenergic receptors, which leads to the burning of unhealthy fat. However, there is not enough research done on this subject to verify or refute this claim.
While there are some really good ingredients in EHP Oxyshred, and it does seem to work, the fact that the company has not listed all ingredients and their dosages (due to it being a proprietary blend) raise a few red flags.
The point of a supplement is that it should enhance your body’s capability to burn fat without putting your health at risk. Therefore, before you start using EHP Oxyshred (or any dietary supplement, for that matter), it would be best if you consult with a doctor first.
