On July 17th my cheetah lover/ obsess daughter turned 8 years old OMG I can’t believe this!…

She had asked for a cheetah theme birthday party. To be honest I just wanted to wing it , since we are in a pandemic I really didnt want a lot of people in my house but still had to do something nice.

Cheetah theme birthday party supplies

Cheetah birthday parties supplies are not easy to find you can’t just go to party city and expect to find them there. We had to do some research and use our creativity for this one.

Birthday Invitations

I wanted to keep it simple but I fell in love with these invitations from basic invite. Their birthday cards are simple yet elegant and beautiful.

You know I love that clean simplistic look especially when it comes to invitations. They have a great variety of invites for any special milestone really even for grandpa’s 60th birthday.

But I have to say their birthday invitation cards are my favorites. To me birthday invitations are the first impression of what the party is going to be like. I like people to have an expectation of the party and at the same time some mystery.

After searching the internet this is like the only site that offers what I believe to be unlimited colors with instant preview. You are pretty much the designer of your own card because you have control to change anything you want.

With over 180 colors to choose from, the invite is sure to be exactly how they want it. This is what sets us apart from almost any other online stationery company.

Custom Samples- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before they place their final order. They can see the paper quality and how it will print, and make sure the card is perfect.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes– Basic Invite has over 40 different envelope colors to choose from. With so many options, you have complete control of how you what you want your envelope to look like. cAll of the envelopes is peel and seal so they can be closed quickly and securely.

Address Capturing Service: Okay I’m in love with this part Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows you to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request yours friends and family’s addresses.

The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders. isn’t that amazing!

Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51

Party decor

Balloon column

Leopard balloon column

I didn’t want to decor a lot in my house that being said the best thing I could create was a cheetah balloon column and let me tell you it looked amazing without any mess

I decorated only one room since the pictures were going to be taken there.

this is the tutorial I followed to complete this column.

Birthday Banner

This is a funny story for the birthday banner I had an old “happy birthday” banner and used some of my gold spray paint to paint it. then I had my artistic older stepdaughter make the cheetah prints for me.

Let me tell you this was the easiest artwork I’ve done since it didn’t need to be perfect. take a look at the picture below.

The cake table

Easy to do all I did was go to the dollar store and pick up some candy and since I already had the candy trays from previous parties that’s I used.

Table cloth

This was an easy pick I searched on amazon for cheetah/leopard tablecloth and this came out. So I purchased it.

But this tablecloth brought I lot of questions and as a homeschool mom, I had to go there and ask the million-dollar question.

cheetah paw cupcakes

What’s the difference between a cheetah and a leopard?

Did I know the answer of course not but I can research a lot faster than my daughter since I thought she had to use a book to figure it out but to my surprise, she didn’t

I almost die when she looked at the table cloth and said

“Mommy this is not a cheetah this is leopard because the cheetah spots are filled and the leopard is just outlined”

I almost died…I thought I was doing a cheetah birthday party, well that’s what I had in my mind but end up being a leopard.

Cutley

Again another easy one. I just went to the dollar store and purchased gold plates and cutley since I didnt think it needed to be more than that.

Face painting station

We had an animal face painting station where my daughter was the one panting and I have to say she was doing a pretty good job.

Trampoline sprinkler

This is a very good investment if you have little kids. This water sprinkler has been a life saver for us during this hot summer. Since the kids can just go in and jump an get wet.

They love it and so do I. They had such a great time in there that by the time that came out it was time to eat and to eat cake since they spent some time in there jumping.

Cheetah birthday cake

This is a masterpiece of mine. So not so many years ago I discovered that I love baking especially things that are not so easy to make.

So I just look at pictures and recreate what I see when it comes to cakes. and this was not going to be the exception. I made my daughter a little jungle cake.

The best part was that it was not hard at all. it was super simple to make and it was hit.

Share with me and let me know how your child’s birthday party looked!
